Every passage is realCopied word for word from a public-domain edition, never paraphrased, never invented. Where there is a public-domain translation into your language, you read that; otherwise the translation is marked as one.

Your first passage is free. After that, buy reading days: 7, 30 or 365. One payment, nothing renews, and there is no subscription to remember to cancel.

Questions

Where do the passages come from?

From public-domain editions of classic books, such as those on Project Gutenberg, Wikisource and Standard Ebooks. The passage itself is never rewritten.

Who writes the scene and the notes around it?

They are written with AI (Anthropic's Claude), around the real passage. The words of the book are always the author's own.

When does the day's passage arrive?

At the time you choose, in the time zone your phone is in. You can change it any time in Settings, Delivery time.

Do you sell my data or show ads?

No. Passage shows no ads, does not track you across apps and websites, and has no analytics or advertising SDKs. The privacy policy lists what it keeps and why.

How do I delete my account?

In Passage, open Settings and choose Delete account. Everything is removed from our servers at once.
